these are so good jeff. i've been looking at a lot of caricature on the weba nd much of it is technically spectacular and beautifully rendered in photoshop. i'm left wanting though as i never see a clear pov from the artist. these have such strong character in the execution. who the hell do you think you are? ya bastid!
Awe shucks and gee whiz, John, thanks. That means a lot coming from one of the masters! Just curious, what are some of those sites, and who are your favorites? I'd like to check them out.
As you know, I credit Alan Cober's "Traumatic Drawing" classes during the University at Buffalo's hey day. We had to draw a bazillion self portraits. It's fun to get back to that type of drawing when I have the time.
