Crystal, I do love that combination. It would be neat to have less separation between the two.... I'm working on that! But you know how the business goes, I'm sure. The assignments run the gamut, and it's hard to turn anything down, at least at this point in my career. But I'm moving toward developing my own work that I am passionate about and seeing if there is a place in the market for it. The common thread and the enjoyment I get from both is focusing on character and story telling.
Hey Craig, thanks for the nice comments...glad you like! To answer your Q, right now all of these are original pieces commissioned by individuals. As far as mass production, my goal is to create a limited number of pieces to sell to specialty or gallery stores, or directly to collectors. The question is, do I find a distributor, or do I try to go at it myself? Still in the process of researching.
